Description
Open discussion meetups represent informal gatherings where participants engage in conversations on a variety of topics without a rigid structure. This year, open discussion meetups will cover two topics: Digital business systems: technologies and innovations (by Prof. Dušan Barać) and The Power of Connections: Networking for Startup (by Ognjen Nikolić).

First open discussion meetup will explore digital business ecosystems through the e-commerce lens, showcasing successful examples. It will address the challenges, participant roles, management, and sustainability of these ecosystems. The impact of digital transformation will be examined with key concepts and real-world examples. Additionally, the role of advanced technologies like AI, blockchain, IoT, and big data in evolving ecosystem models will be discussed, offering insights into their potential and future growth.

Second discussion meetup will answer the following question: Why do you need help from people you don’t know, and why are they ready to help you? In the meetup we will cover the topic of networking – why is it important for startups, how to do it properly and through which mediums. We will especially cover the importance of networking for student startups, and which resources they can leverage immediately.
