20th International Symposium SymOrg 2026
Dear colleagues,
We are pleased to invite you to participate in the 20th International Symposium SymOrg 2026, organized by the Faculty of Organizational Sciences, University of Belgrade, which will take place from 10 to 12 June, 2026 on Kopaonik, Serbia.
Symposium Main Topic
RESILIENT AND INTELLIGENT ORGANIZATIONS IN TIMES OF PERMANENT DISRUPTION
The aim of SymOrg 2026 is to promote the theory and practice of management, organization, computer, and information sciences, discuss new challenges and solutions in times of permanent disruption, and establish mutual collaboration among researchers, professionals, and the public sector.
The Symposium will be held at the Grand Hotel Kopaonik.
We welcome full papers, short papers, and posters addressing the challenges of resilient and intelligent organizations in times of permanent disruption and other related topics. Submissions from academic, research, consulting, industry, intermediary, and policy organizations are encouraged and should focus on the following general themes:
Publishing Options
There are several publishing options. All accepted contributions will be included in the official Conference Proceedings, with an ISBN, and will be openly accessible online. The proceedings will be submitted for evaluation and indexing in Scopus, Web of Science (Conference Proceedings Citation Index), Google Scholar, DBLP, and Semantic Scholar.
A number of outstanding contributions will be recommended for extended journal and book series publications, subject to an additional independent review process. Among them, Lecture Notes in Networks and Systems (LNNS) by Springer, Computer Science and Information Systems (ComSIS, Scimago Q2, IF (2024) 1.8) and Yugoslav Journal of Operations Research (Scimago Q3) will invite authors of top papers to submit extended versions of their work.
Selected papers from different sections will be also be proposed for review and publication to the editors of scientific journals (Management: Journal of Sustainable Business and Management Solutions in Emerging Economies, indexed in ERIH+; InfoM and Tehnika – Menadžment, Serbian national journals).
Events
SymOrg 2026 will host several engaging events: Organisational Sciences Day, keynote speaker presentations, roundtables on current topics, participants’ presentations, panel discussions, business forum, and informal gatherings and social events.
