Challenges of Green and Digital Transformation
Description
This track addresses the key managerial challenges of integrating green and digital transformations in organizations and the public sector. The focus is on strategy, change management and performance: how to align digital innovation with sustainability goals, support the transition to a circular economy and circular business models, develop new competencies and organizational capabilities, ensure quality data management and ESG reporting, and overcome implementation barriers (costs, resistance to change, lack of skills, regulatory uncertainty). Papers offering empirical evidence, management models/frameworks, measurement, and benchmarking tools, as well as case studies of successful (and unsuccessful) transitions in companies, cities, and institutions, are particularly welcome.
