It is evident that the Fifth Industrial Revolution is not just a technology-driven but also a value-driven era. It is characterized by high human-centrism, sustainability, and resilience potential to support the workforce and better business performance achievements. Thus, adopting digital transformation requires the development of new quality models and standardization to achieve desired business results in a new, rapidly changing, industrial environment. Quality management and standardization represent the basis for using the recognized potential of digital transformation to achieve high-quality business performance. Management systems standards are crucial in driving organizations toward quality and business excellence on this road of transformation. In addition, standards can also endorse the development of new technologies and related products and services.
