Description

According to recent research of Project Management Institute (Pulse of the Profession, 2019), 81% of globally surveyed project managers said their organization is being impacted by Artificial Intelligence technologies. In the same report project managers expecting jump from 23% to 37% of projects that are managed with AI in the next three years. Gartner’s research shows, by 2020, AI will generate 2.3 million jobs, generating $2.9 trillion in business value by 2021. Sundar Pichai, CEO of Google, said “AI is one of the most important things humanity is working on. It is more profound than electricity or fire…”.
All these shows it is becoming essential for project managers to have appropriate understanding and knowledge of AI concepts. Increasing of application of Artificial Intelligence cause changes in how projects are managed, and how organizations implement strategy. The main issues to be discussed in this track will be the application of Artificial Intelligence in projects and project management. We will particularly focus on the experiences and the effects of application of AI in project management.
