Description
In the near future, it will become increasingly difficult to find an organization that is not in some manner involved in the digitalization process. Even traditional businesses such as agriculture become digital. This results in fewer production risks, lower investment, less consumption of water and fertilizers, and yet higher yields. However, digitization of organizations is more of a journey than a transformation. Going digital asks for various changes and an appropriate change management. This track topic is broadly focused on the implications of digitalization on business strategies, and changes in an organization’s leadership and management. The main issues to be discussed will be the implementation of new approaches in organizations, the competencies of managers for digital business, and project management in the digital environment. We will particularly focus on the experiences with digital transformation projects and the effects of digital principles applications in organizations.
