Description

Project management plays a significant role in initiating and implementing digital transformation. Many projects today deal with the use of digital capabilities in various fields of application. The digital revolution requires organizations to digitize or risk their future. COVID-19 has also transformed the pace and scope of digitalization, with a huge impact on all aspects of life, every industry, economy, and public sector. But digital transformation is not just a project, it is a vision of the future. Project and program managers need to be creative, flexible, and collaborative to make this vision into reality.

This section focuses on the challenges of managing digital transformation projects and programs that may be caused or accelerated by the COVID-19 pandemic. We would like to identify and analyze the drivers and barriers that can oppose projects of digital transformation and discuss models and practices of project management in the post-COVID era.
