Second day of XVIII International Symposium SymOrg 2022

Belgrade, June 12, 2022 – Second day of Symposium started with Plenary Sessions. Faculty welcomed key note speakers from India, Mr. Basant Agarwal, Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Information Technology Kota and Mrs. Prianka Harjule, Department of Mathematics, Malavia, National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur.

The Covid-19 has caused an extraordinary increase in online sales and package delivery. As a result businesses have turned to AI to speed up remote operations and cut expenses, said Mr. Basant while providing insights and discussing the topic, The Role of Artificial Intelligence for the Sustainable Business in the post Covid-19 World.

The combination of sustainability and optimization investments are linked to business gains. Optimal use of resources is an excellent sustainable goal, said Mrs. Prijanka, while delivering arguments on the topic, Applications of Intelligent Optimization Techniques in Sustainability.

After the first part Parallel sessions have followed, on the upcoming topics, E-Business Eco Systems, Digital Operations and Logistics Management, Evidence-based Public Policy making in Post-Covid Environment, Quality Management and Standardization in Digital Transformation Era, Managing Digital Transformation Projects under Discontinuity, Digital Transformation of Public Administration.

On the Conference Agenda Ph.D. Colloquium and Panel: Circle U. were then revelead.

Moderator at Ph.D. Colloquium were Dragana Makajić-Nikolić, Ph.D., Associate Professor and Vice-dean for Postgraduate Studies and Veljko Jeremić, Ph.D., Associate Professor and Vice-dean for Scientific Research and Development. Doctoral colloquium represented an important outlook where Ph.D. students had a unique opportunity to present research ideas, both to peers and senior researchers, and obtain much-needed feedback for their prospective scientific endeavors.

The Panel: Circle. U brought together domestic and international experts, experienced professors and students, who shared their experiences and exchanged ideas for future sustainable and innovative projects. The moderator of this panel was Vesna Damnjanović, Ph.D., Full Professor at the Faculty of Organizational Sciences and Circle U. Academic Chair of University of Belgrade.
