Description

Operations Management for a Digital World aims to address the topic of increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of business processes within integrated supply chains of manufacturing and service companies, by combining operations management (OM) methods with cutting-edge digital technologies. OM is concerned with the design, implementation, management and improvement of processes, in order to increase their efficiency and effectiveness. Digital world represents altered business environment that requires strong integration of OM methods and information and communication technologies. The aim is to critically review theory based, practically relevant innovative solutions to OM issues, tailored to the requirements of changed business environment.
