Description

The negative utopia that human factor would be irrelevant in the future work environment does not prove to be right, in spite the fact that many work activities in contemporary business environment are automatized. The fact is that there is only a shift of competencies that are required from the human agent in the virtual and digitalized workplace. As a matter of fact, competencies that become vital and crucial in the era of digitalization are lifting the level of cognitive capacities demands and virtues of employees. It brings us to the point when we realize that dealing with human capital issues becomes even more important and complex than it was ever before. There is new challenging occupations, new working concepts in order to adapt to the new generation of workforce (so called millennials that are considered to be highly digitalized cohort), as well as new domains of research that should be studied properly and effectively.
