Description

The negative utopia that human factor would be irrelevant in the future does not prove to be right, despite the fact that many work activities in contemporary business environment are automatized. A shift of competencies required from a human agent in the virtual and digitalized workplace is a known fact. Competencies that have become vital and crucial in the era of digitalization are actually increasing the demands on cognitive capacities and virtues of employees. This implies that dealing with human capital issues is becoming even more important and complex than it was ever before. There are new challenging occupations, new working concepts and new domains of research to be studied properly and effectively in order to adapt to the new generation of workforce, i.e. to a highly digitalized group of millennials.
